Cameo brings the Lingfield Oaks Trial profile that has worked well in past years, stepping up again to this Group 1 after showing stamina and a straightforward attitude.
She is not far behind Amelia Earhart on figures and sits in the single-figure bracket in the betting around 8/1, partnered by Wayne Lordan.
Sugar Island, who made the running before fading into fourth in the Cheshire Oaks, adds another tactical option and could be ridden positively again from her double-figure price.
Joseph O’Brien’s Thundering On adds a family sub-plot as the third favourite, having progressed steadily to a mark of 107.
